HOW ARE YOU DIFFERENT FROM OTHER PHOTOGRAPHERS?

At my core, I am a creative person. I’ve photographed 200+ weddings and events, and have worked with people from all over Texas. I’m a fast shooter. Slow and selective is not my style. I shoot continuously throughout your event and care about every single detail. I don’t want to miss any special moments; I want to give you as many beautiful, awe inspiring photos for you to hold onto- from beginning, middle and end. From the second I pick up my camera, my goal is to make people in front of it feel beautiful and comfortable. I truly believe you deserve the best experience possible.

WHAT IS YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE?

I provide lifestyle documentary images. Aesthetically, quality for me is the most important. I am intentional with every look and like to create bright, sharp and colorful images. I like to consider how these images will translate into print and social media platforms by delivering my clients a variety of compositions. Because of my technical training and understanding of photography, I like to listen and anticipate the needs of my clients. :)

WHAT TYPE OF CAMERA EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?

I shoot with a Canon 5D Mark III, a variety of lenses and a very powerful flash that is amazing for low-light conditions :) A ton of batteries and memory cards and other accessories. Studio equipment includes an entire setup of a strobe light, backdrop stand, and a variety of colored backdrops. I have a backup camera and equipment if something should malfunction.

DO YOU HAVE LIABILITY INSURANCE?

Yes, we are covered under General Liability through The Hartford insurance. If your venue requires proof we are happy to provide it.


WHEN WILL WE GET TO SEE OUR PHOTOS? 

I take pride in offering the quickest turnaround in the photography business. You can have access to the downloadable online gallery 3-9 business days after the date of the event. I provide you with 5 sneak peak images 3 days after the event, so that you can have something to share with your family and friends :). I focus on delivering the galleries to you as soon as possible- without compromising the quality of the images.

WHAT DOES THE BOOKING PROCESS LOOK LIKE? 

To begin you need to fill out our inquiry form or send us a direct email to jeanette@jeanettenevarez.com. After that we go over your needs carefully and provide you with a quote. After you approve the quote, we send you an invoice and a contract agreement through our client management platform (Honeybook).

HOW MUCH IS THE DEPOSIT?

The initial booking deposit is 50% of the total services fee . The first payment is a non-refundable retainer. The retainer fee fairly compensates the vendor for committing to provide the services and turning down other potential projects/clients.

WHEN IS THE REMAINDER DUE?

The remainder is due in full before the event date.

WHICH FORM OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

Cash and all major Debit and Credit Cards are acceptable. There is a 3% service fee for Credit Card transactions. Clients also have the option to link a checking account to submit payments using the bank transfer option via Honeybook.

DO YOU HAVE ASSOCIATE PHOTOGRAPHERS?

Yes I do! I have professional associate photographers that are very qualified and skilled. If your event requires multiple photographers or videographers, I can provide that for you. As an active photographer in Austin, I have built relationships with some of the best photographers, videographers, graphic artists, animators, editors, artists in Texas. YOU NAME IT.

DO YOU CHARGE FOR TRAVEL?

There are no travel fees for shoots within 15 miles of downtown Austin, Texas. Anything outside the 15 mile radius incurs a $0.51/mile. Anything beyond 30 miles from downtown Austin requires an hourly travel fee of $60 per hour.

DO YOU PROVIDE DIGITAL NEGATIVES (RAW FILES) AFTER THE SHOOT?

I do not provide RAW files as part of any package. You can however, inquire about purchasing the RAW files. I take each request under consideration on a case by case basis.

DO I GET ALL THE IMAGES YOU TAKE?

I go thoroughly through all the images I take and will take out the obviously unusable ones in the first step. I then reduce the amount of duplicates so that you can enjoy only the best of the best images. I also provide you with as many photos options as possible when it comes to group photos, compositions, and facial expressions. 

WHAT RIGHTS DO I HAVE TO THE DIGITAL PRINTS?

You will receive reproduction rights to all your images. This gives you the right to reproduce the images for personal use, including but not limited to prints, sharing them on your social media, making canvases, etc. The photographer retains the copyright to the images.

ARE YOU AVAILABLE TO STAY LONGER IF WE WANT TO HIRE YOU FOR MORE TIME ON THE SPOT?

Yes :) the hourly rate remains the same and can be prorated in half hour increments.
